CK CraftandKnit and our history

CK CraftandKnit is owned and run by Camilla Kuoppala in Jakobstad, on ithe west coast of Finland.

Camilla works daily as a physiotherapist with her own practice and since her main interests and hobbies are crafts
and especially knitting she started to dream about her own shop. Her knitting hobby
started as idle pleasure and a way to still restless hands and has now grown into a lifestyle
filled with creativity.
The world of knitting includes so many wonderful parts, such as beautiful yarns, great tools and notions
and all the amazing knitters and crafters. Through her hobby Camilla has had the opportunity to meet lots of new people
and friends throughout the whole country and world. The knitted garments have increased in quantity
and thoughts behind material choices has grown.
All of this is what Camilla wants to share and therefore all products in her shop are handpicked
and recommended by herself
CK started out as a small home based brick and mortar store and is now evolving into a webshop.
To be able to have your hobby as a job is what makes it all fun and exciting to work with and take it
to the next level.
